Dr. Peter Williams is a quantitative ecologist interested in the functioning of ecological communities, especially in the context of global change, with a focus on vertebrates and plants. He received a BS in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior at the University of Minnesota, received a PhD in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Montana with advisor Jedediah Brodie, and then held a postdoctoral position at Michigan State University working with Elise Zipkin and María Natalia Umaña. Besides research and teaching, Peter enjoys playing music, studying foreign languages, and hiking.
